3. High oxidation resistance at 1000C
4. Has stable chemical composition at low temperatures

The metallographic structure of Inconel718 nut:

Alloy 718 has an austenitic structure, and the Y phase generated after precipitation hardening gives it excellent mechanical properties. The Δ phase generated at the grain boundaries during heat treatment gives it optimal plasticity.
