Hastelloy X nut alloy has the following properties:

Hastelloy X is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added cobalt and tungsten. Hastelloy X alloy has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures up to 1200°C and can also be used in neutral and reducing atmospheres. At the same time, HastelloyX alloy can resist carbonization and ammoniation atmosphere.

  1. This alloy has good cold and hot working properties, and the forging heating temperature is 1170°C.
  2. The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the deformation degree of the forging and the final forging temperature.
  3. The alloy has satisfactory welding performance and can be welded by argon arc welding, seam welding, spot welding and other methods.
  4. The alloy can be added directly into the furnace that has been heated to high operating temperature. Take it out immediately after the necessary heat preservation time and process it to the specified specifications. If the metal temperature drops below the minimum processing temperature, it needs to be heated again.
  5. The surface oxide of the alloy and the welding slag around the weld have stronger adhesion than stainless steel. It is recommended to use a fine-grained sand belt or fine-grained grinding wheel for grinding.
