Incoloy926 nuts have the following characteristics:
- It has high resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion in halide media and acidic media containing H2S.
- Can effectively resist ammonia ion stress corrosion cracking in practical applications
- Excellent resistance to various corrosions in normal oxidation and reduction environments 4. Mechanical properties are greatly improved compared to Cronifer 1925 LC-Alloy 904L
- The metallurgical stability is greatly improved compared with the same series of alloys with 18% nickel content. 6. It has relevant certifications for pressure vessel manufacturing (VdTUV-196~400℃ and ASME certification)
The metallographic structure of Incoloy926 nut:
926 is a face-centered cubic lattice structure
Corrosion resistance of Incoloy926 nut:
926 is an austenitic stainless steel with a similar chemical composition to Alloy 904L. Its gas content is increased to about 0.2%, and its molybdenum content is about 6.5%. Increased nitrogen and molybdenum content significantly improves resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in halide media. At the same time, nickel and nitrogen not only ensure the stability of the metallographic phase, but the alloy with a lower content of nickel and ammonia reduces the tendency of intergranular phase precipitation during hot processing or welding. Excellent localized corrosion resistance coupled with a nickel content of 25% gives Alloy 926 particularly outstanding corrosion resistance in ammonia ion media. Tests in various FGD systems of limestone slurries with gasification concentrations of 10000-70000ppm, pH values of 5-6, and operating temperatures of 50-68°C showed that after a test period of 1-2 years, alloy 926 basically had no occurrence points. Corrosion and crevice corrosion. Alloy 926 also has good corrosion resistance in other chemical media, as well as high temperature and high concentration media, including sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, acid gas, seawater, salt and organic acids. Alloy 926 is the material of choice for Chapter 6 “Specifications for Storage and Transportation Containers of Dangerous Goods” of the German National Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in Berlin. In addition, the best corrosion resistance can only be achieved when the material is in the correct metallurgical condition and ensures cleanliness.
